In an effort to keep buildings safe, be in compliance with NYC Construction Codes §28-323, and RCNY §103-13, owners of parking structures are required to hire a New York State licensed and registered professional engineer (PE) to inspect parking structures and file a condition assessment report with the Department of Buildings at least once every six years.
