MARTOS is proud to welcome Mary Dominguez as our newest staff engineer. Joining our team in the summer of 2024, Mary holds a master’s degree from Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña in Spain, with a focus in architectural restoration and rehabilitation. Earlier this year, Mary completed an internship in Madrid, performing structural analysis of preserved elements for the restoration plan of Gaudi’s historical landmark, Torre Bellesguard. Prior to that experience, Mary interned in Barcelona assisting senior engineers with the analysis of existing buildings as well as the design and demolition for new construction. Mary’s extensive work with the preservation of historical buildings is a perfect segway for her career in New York City’s urban setting, where preservation is a primary focus for many of our clients.
Mary’s industry passion, intelligence, and academic merits are welcomed assets for our team. Her professional trajectory is preparing her for project management and future licensing as a Professional Engineer.
