New Construction 

MARTOS is currently providing structural engineering consultation for the new construction of a 3,000 square foot guest house located on the historic Salmon Kill Farm property. The construction will consist of concrete spread footings and basement walls supporting wood framed bearing walls and floor framing. To provide lateral stability to the structure, standard plywood sheathed shear walls will be used.

Due to high rock elevations at the site, MARTOS is also providing details for stepped foundation and walls as required to construct a basement on the proposed site.
